Cocoa powder is the powdery remains of chocolate liquor after cocoa butter is removed. Our cocoa powder is 100% natural and is produced from West African cocoa beans. Osage carries three different types of cocoa powder: Premium, Commodity, and Cocoa Fiber. Our manufacturer has been in the cocoa business 79 years. The most common applications for cocoa powder are baked goods, dairy, confectionery, ice creams, yogurts, dietary & nutritional products, and compound coatings.

Egg Whites

Egg white is the common name for the clear liquid (also called the albumen) contained within an egg. In chickens it is formed from the layers of secretions of the anterior section of the hen’s oviduct during the passage of the egg. It forms around fertilized or unfertilized egg yolks.

Egg Replacers

Malted Milk Powder

Malted Milk is a powdered gruel made from a mixture of malted barley, wheat flour, and whole milk, which is evaporated until it forms a powder.

Maltodextrin

Maltodextrin is used as a food additive. It is produced from starch by partial hydrolysis and is usually found as a spray-dried powder. Maltodextrin is easily digestible, being absorbed as rapidly as glucose, and might be either moderately sweet or almost flavorless. It is commonly used for the production of soft drinks and candy. It can also be found as an ingredient in a variety of other processed foods.

Potato Flakes

PotatoFlakeB_copyPotato Flakes are potatoes that have been through an industrial process of cooking, mashing and dehydrating to yield a packaged convenience food that can be reconstituted by adding hot water or milk, producing a close approximation of mashed potatoes.
Potato Flakes can be reconstituted from potato flour, but the process is made more difficult by lumping; a key characteristic of instant mashed potatoes is that it is in the form of flakes or granules, eliminating the chunkiness. Our Potato Flakes are Kosher Certified and are packed in paper bags and totes.

Soy Milk Powder

Soy milk powder is a great source of protein that comes in a variety of flavors, but also comes plain. Soy milk powder is processed using all natural processes while leaving the oil, lecithin and other naturally occurring elements still in the powder. Whole non-GMO soybeans are first cleaned before they are cracked in order to aspirate off the hulls. The remaining product is then made into bulk soy milk and then spray dried. Our soy milk powder is made from high-quality soybeans and is processed in a state of the art facility. Osage offers both organic and non-organic soy milk powders. Applications for soy milk powder include: soy milk, dairy analogs, yogurt, ice cream, smoothies, mayonnaise, sour cream, coffee creamers, and bakery products.
